Not a single field has left untouched with the advancements of technology and the church and its related organizations are incorporating the latest technologies for their benefit. There are many websites like mobileAxept on the internet that are connected to the churches, monasteries and other religious organizations. You can make donations, communicate with those organizations and do all other necessary things from these online platforms. Another amazing thing about these providers is that you can also do all this stuff from text messages i.e. you just have to type and send a normal text from your phone to make your donations to the church.
How can you make donations through text messages?
If you want to make quick donations to the church then neither you have to arrange a cheque nor you have to spend hours in the bank’s queue to deposit your cheque. All you have to do is to pick up your mobile phone and type a text message.
However, there is particular format to send these kinds of messages, so make sure you are doing it right to make your donations properly. If the user wants to donate $20 to an organization named XYZ then you have to type the text as “XYZ 20” and send it to the number which you can get on their website. Also, “XYZ 20” which is also known as keyword, has to be correct otherwise you will send wrong amount or donate to the wrong organization.
Although, these services are for the registered member but if you are an unregistered member and have to sent this text for the first time then you will receive a text back from the service provider. The link will redirect to the registration webpage where you have to fill and submit the form. After registration, you will be given an account and gift with which the donated money will be deducted every time you will make donations.
